Secret Santa Gifts for Book Lovers

Why a book poster works for Secret Santa

Secret Santa is tricky. You want something that feels thoughtful without overspending on someone you might not know that well. A book poster ticks every box: A5 prints start at £14.99, so it fits neatly into most Secret Santa budgets, and choosing a title almost everyone has heard of takes the guesswork out of gifting.

How to choose a title they will actually love

Stick to books people already know and you can hardly go wrong. Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile suit anyone who enjoys a classic whodunit, while 1984 is a safe bet for readers who like something with a bit more weight. If your Secret Santa is into Shakespeare, Macbeth or A Midsummer Night's Dream are instantly recognisable choices, and Persuasion works well for anyone who loves a classic love story. Prefer something spookier? Dracula and Misery are unmistakable picks for horror fans.

Size, frame and style tips for a budget gift

An unframed A5 or A4 print is an easy, low-cost way to keep things simple, while a framed option in wood, black or white feels like a bigger gesture without much extra effort on your part, since it arrives ready to hang. Each design comes in six styles, from Blurby to Minimalist and Modern, so you can match the poster to how well you know their taste. If in doubt, a Minimalist or Square style tends to suit most rooms and most people.

Making it feel like a considered gift

A poster on its own already feels more thought through than a gift set nobody asked for, and you can add a free gift note printed on a card and packed with the print, so it reads like it came from you rather than a shop. If you are buying for more than one Secret Santa or sorting a few presents at once, the Buy 3 offer takes 20% off automatically. Prints are made to order and printed locally, so do order early to give yourself plenty of time before the big day.
