The Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies and East of Eden all came out within a few years of each other, and they still turn up on school reading lists.
The decade has a softer side too, with Charlotte's Web, and plenty of Christie, including A Murder Is Announced and 4.50 from Paddington.
Each book comes in up to six styles, in sizes from A5 to A1, unframed or in a natural wood, black or white frame.
