Gifts for Bookworms

A bookish gift that isn't another book

Buying for a bookworm is tricky: they've read it, they own it, and their shelves are already full. A print of a book they love is different. It turns a favourite story into original art for the wall, so it suits a reading nook, a study, a hallway or the space above a bookshelf. Every Blurby design is original artwork inspired by the book.

How to choose

Pick the book they talk about most, or the one they reread. Classic lovers might want Wuthering Heights or The Catcher in the Rye. Fantasy readers will know A Game of Thrones, Tolkien's The Fall of Gondolin and Stephen King's Wizard and Glass. For a bookworm who grew up with Narnia, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and The Magician's Nephew make a lovely pair, and The Goldfinch or Kafka's The Metamorphosis suit the literary reader.

Size, frame and style tips

Each book comes in six styles, from illustrated scenes to clean Minimalist designs. A4 suits a shelf; A3 and larger make a feature. Frames come in natural wood, black or white and arrive ready to hang. For a whole bookshelf wall, three prints in matching frames look great together.
