Why a Christmas book poster makes a lovely present
Some stories are Christmas itself: the crackle of Scrooge's fire, the whistle of the Polar Express, the hush of Narnia under snow. A poster of one of these tales brings that feeling into a room all year round, not just for the twelve days of December. It is a present with real staying power, hung on a wall long after the tree comes down.
How to choose a title
Start with the reader. For anyone who grew up with C.S. Lewis, The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe is a lovely nod to childhood wonder, while A Christmas Carol suits a Dickens devotee or anyone who watches an adaptation every December. Younger readers and families often love The Polar Express or How The Grinch Stole Christmas, both instantly recognisable and full of festive warmth. For a crime fan who likes their Christmas with a twist, Hercule Poirot's Christmas makes a sharp, characterful choice. If in doubt, pick the story they mention every year, whether that is the Nutcracker's toy soldiers or Tolkien's Letters From Father Christmas.
Size, frame and style tips
Each design comes in six styles, from the bold Blurby look to the clean Modern Minimalist, so you can match it to the recipient's taste rather than guess. Sizes run from A5 up to A1, plus US inch sizes, so a poster can suit a cosy hallway or a whole feature wall. Choose unframed if they like to pick their own frame, or go for one of the pine wood frames in wood, black or white finish for a piece that arrives ready to hang, no trip to the framers required.
Making it a proper Christmas gift
Every order can include a free gift note, printed on a card and packed in with the poster, so it feels thoughtful from the moment it is opened. Buying for more than one book lover, or building a set of Narnia and Dickens together, means the buy three, get 20% off offer applies automatically. With free tracked delivery to the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and the EU, it is worth ordering early to allow plenty of time for a made-to-order print to reach you.
