About Unknown Book Posters
This collection celebrates the enduring power of stories whose authors remain unnamed—medieval epics, morality plays, and classical narratives that have shaped literary traditions for centuries.
These works emerged from oral tradition, anonymous scribes, and cultural movements rather than individual authorship. From heroic sagas to allegorical dramas, each piece reflects the collective imagination of its era, preserving folklore, religious themes, and societal values through generations of retelling. The absence of a named creator only amplifies their universal resonance, allowing these narratives to belong to everyone.
Featured titles include The Song of Roland, the foundational French epic of chivalry; Reynard the Fox, the satirical beast fable that influenced European storytelling; and The Nibelungenlied, the Germanic heroic poem that inspired Wagner and countless adaptations. Other highlights span Everyman, the morality play examining salvation, and The Poetic Edda, the cornerstone of Norse mythology.
Each poster is available in multiple art styles—Modern, Minimalist, Square, Edge—with framed or unframed options to suit your space. These designs honour works that transcend individual authorship, offering visual tributes to the anonymous voices that built our literary heritage.
